Request

We were asked by company Dematron, our business partner in USA, with request for production of electronically controlled heavy duty pattern sewing machine with using standard (non-hot cutting) trimming of threads up to thickness Nm. 6.

The point of request was to use this type of machine for sewing of webbings in aerospace (factories which produce for NASA), ropes and balls for American football.

Solution

We developed and constructed new electronically controlled machine model GPS/X with sewing area 35 x 25 cm.

This model is based on our series of electronically controlled machines GPS, mainly from machine model GPS/G-3525, the world’s first pattern stitcher working without use of timing belts. This model is equipped with barrel shuttle hook and trimming of threads up to thickness Nm. 6.

Result

This machine has allowed these companies to switch to automated production as the sewing area and the construction of the machine allows sewing of extra heavy materials without using standard sewing machines.

This solution increases efficiency and productivity and decreases production costs.
